Gun Vise
Q: How far will the gun vise rotate?A: The gun vise will rotate 45 degrees, forward or back from it's normal level position. It can be locked into these three positions - level, 45 degrees forward and 45 degrees back.
Q: Can the front section of the vise clamp onto either barrels or forends?
A: Yes, the gun vise comes with several different size padded inserts which allow it to securely hold a variety of barrels and forends.
Q: Can the gun vise be used as a shooting rest?
A: No. It is designed to be used for firearm maintenance and gunsmithing. It would be damaged if used as a shooting rest.
Q: Can the gun vise be bolted down?
A: Yes. The gun vise has holes in each leg that can be used to bolt the vise to a bench. Be aware however, that the length would not be easily adjusted once it is bolted down. This would not be a problem if the same type of guns are installed. Another possibility is to bolt down just the stock end of the vise, allowing the front end to be slid back and forth.
