Butch’s Bore Shine

Butch’s Bore Shine is a revolutionary new gun solvent designed by well known bench rest competitor Butch Fisher. Since it’s introduction in 1999 this product has literally set the market back on its heels. Butch’s is a non-abrasive chemical solvent specifically designed to remove all forms of Bore Fouling including copper with an absolute minimum of effort. It will quickly remove carbon build-up even in that “difficult to clean” throat area. It will easily remove lead, wax and even plastic from shotgun wads. However, unlike most powder solvents, Butch’s can also control the copper and by pushing a few patches soaked with Butch’s will control copper build-up. Butch’s is safe to use on carbon and stainless barrels. It is a true “All in One” Cleaner. Try it and you will never use anything else!

Butch’s Gun Oil

Butch’s Gun Oil is an excellent bore conditioner to be used in conjunction with Butch’s solvent. It is a unique blend of several natural oils. It is specifically designed to withstand the intense heat and pressures produced by exploding cartridge. The product also contains a rust inhibitor, so as to provide the absolute maximum in corrosion protection for both carbon and stainless steel barrels.

Last year “Butch’s Bore Shine” took the shooting market by storm. Customers told us that after trying Butch’s, they will never use another bore cleaner.

We were so pleased with the success of Butch’s we set out to find the perfect patch to go along with Butch’s solvent and oil. Like Butch’s bore shine, we wanted a better product, a patch that would hold more liquid and remove fouling faster than ordinary cotton flannel patches. By chance, we discovered Triple Twill, a fabric used by laboratories and cleanrooms. Triple Twill’s special weave has hundreds of tiny “ridges and drop zones” which scrub and capture fouling residues far better than flannel patches. Butch’s Triple Twill won’t shed lint like other patches can. They also have been specially treated to gain the absolute maximum in liquid absorbency.
