Lyman Products Corporation is currently looking for a talented and professional engineer to join our product team to support the growing needs of our exciting new Mark 7 Division. This position will be located in our Fort Myers, FL facility and will work very closely with our engineering team in our CT location. This new division, acquired in 2019, represents the future of consumer and commercial reloading and has unlimited growth potential. The position will offer the right candidate the opportunity to be an integral part of the development and future of this innovative product line. Responsibilities will include product design, design for manufacturing, prototype development, manufacturing integration, and supply chain planning. Candidates will have the opportunity to bring products from ideation to market while working with all ranges of employees from CNC operator to CEO. The position requires talent, high energy, a team-based attitude and a willingness to go the distance.
A successful candidate will have the technical ability to bring products from ideation through to commercialization and/or manufacturing. Instead of being a specialist in any single engineering discipline, the candidate must have broad technical aptitudes and interests. This position is ideal for a person who prefers to have a hands-on role in an open culture of collaboration, and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
